3 Doors Down
From Escatawpa, Miss., 3 Doors Down exploded onto the music scene in 2000, selling over 12 million copies of their debut album. Their 3rd studio album, "Seventeen Days" was released in Feb. of this year and rocketed to the multi-platinum level in sales, just months after its release.
Guitarist Matt Roberts is an integral part of the band's musical direction and multi-platinum sound. During pre-production sessions while recording "Seventeen Days" in Nashville, Tenn., a close friend of Matt's recommended that he check out the Genz Benz El Diablo 100 tube head. When Matt got his hands on the El Diablo 100 it was immediately added to some of the tracks being recorded.
While the band was rehearsing for their current tour in support of the album release, Matt and veteran guitar tech, A.J. brought out the El Diablo 100's. The screaming tone and heavy "live" presence of the El Diablo was an immediate hit with the band.
Matt relies on his El Diablo 100's for driving his heavy, energized guitar tone through the mix on their worldwide, "Seventeen Days" concert tour.
Catch Matt and the guys coming to a concert arena near you and experience the multi-platinum tone of Genz Benz and 3 Doors Down.
