Genz Benz Shares ACMA Stage with Zac Brown and James Taylor
One of the highlights of Sunday night's ACMA Awards was the duet between the Zac Brown band the legendary James Taylor. The arrangement of Zac's hit single "Colder Weather" dove tailed into Taylor's iconic "Sweet Baby James" prompting goose bumps and a standing ovation.
Zac's fiddle player Jimmy De Martini stood alongside Zac and JT delivering his prominent fiddle parts through the Genz Benz Shen-300LT. Because Jimmy's fiddle plays such a large part in Zac's sound, Jimmy's amp requirements were very specific. It had to sound awesome. So why did Jimmy choose the Genz Benz Shen 300LT . Let's let Jimmy tell it.
"After searching years for an acoustic amp that can give me the power, clarity, and versatility I need for my violin, I have finally found it in the Genz Benz Shenandoah. My Shen 300LT reproduces the natural acoustics of my violin to a T. The compact design allows me to use the combo amp for intimate radio gigs and when I add the 10" extension cabinets (SHEN-300-EXTL/R), I get the headroom I need from the powerful class D tube amplification to play arena and stadium shows. With the built in EQ and Effects, I have everything I need to play any type of venue. Add in the amazing customer support from the team at Genz Benz, and it's the perfect combination." - Jimmy De Martini
